Installation

We know that when you've purchased a high quality, medical mounting solution the installation can be a rather daunting task. Because of that MedicalMounts offer a full installation service.

 

Our fully trained engineers are CRB checked and C.I.S registered. They will liaise with you to provide all relevant method statements and risk assessments as required. Installation can be planned for normal working hours, out of hours and weekends, whichever the most convenient for you.Our installation service commences at the initial site survey where we will discuss your exact requirements, demonstrate solutions, check structural integrities and identify associated I.T. hardware. As the project progresses we will advise on cable management options and can also provide power, SVGA and USB extension cables if required.

 

Once installation commences our engineers will work with clinical staff to ensure minimal disruption to the environment. All packaging materials will be removed from the installation area and the completed installation cleaned, ready for use. On completion the lead engineer will present a sign of sheet for an authorised staff member to check and sign off the installation. As the installation would have been completed by ourselves we would then be able to provide the optional maintenance service agreement required by a number of NHS Trusts.

 

Servicing

MedicalMounts can also provide a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme (P.P.M) on all computer mounting solutions installed by ourselves. Following several requests from NHS Trusts throughout the country, MedicalMounts have organised a programme of planned maintenance visits to Trusts and private healthcare providers who have 10+ mounting solutions installed. The programme provides twice yearly visits by fully trained MedicalMounts engineers to service and maintain installed equipment.

 

With several thousand MedicalMounts solutions in daily use throughout the UK it is important that they can be relied up on to function 24/7. PACS, EPRS and patient TV solutions can be maintained by us. This removes the need for an in house facilities team to allocate their precious time on maintaining products which they may not actually be fully qualified on.

 

Our engineers check, tighten and where necessary replace worn or damaged components. This service also includes checking ceiling fixings within ceiling voids. The engineers will also provide a full detailed report on each individual mounting solution. P.P.M agreements can be renewed on an annual basis.
