February 2010 : New Cleankeys Keyboard Adaptors

MedicalMounts the specialist manufacturer and distributor of ergonomic computer mounting solutions for healthcare environments are pleased to announce the release of the new Cleankeys keyboard adaptor.

The specialist adaptor replaces the Ultra / Paralink / Composite keyboard tray with a dedicated Cleankeys adaptor. The adaptor attaches to the pre threaded holes provided on the underside of the Cleankeys keyboard and retains the unique 'flip up' mechanism when the keyboard is not in use. The below images show the popular Ultra 210 series with the CleanKeys keyboard. When stowed the unit is extremely slender making it ideal for dental and healthcare environments where space is limited.

PACS, EPRS and patient TV solutions can now be maintained by us, the supplier, who have many years experience of the operational aspects of our products. Our engineers check, tighten and where necessary replace worn or damaged components. This service also includes checking ceiling fixings within ceiling voids in the case of our ceiling mounted installations, a task that no facilities team would normally relish.

June 2008 : Patient TV at West Haven Hospital

West Haven Hospital in Weymouth, Dorset is under the Dorset NHS structure. Offering elderly care inpatient beds, physiotherapy and community rehabilitation it performs a valuable everyday role in supporting healthcare needs of the local community. Following a refurbishment of the Ever Green Unit, MedicalMounts were instructed to provide patients with individual access to LCD television screens. Patients required the T.V. screens to be viewable whilst lying in bed, sitting in bed or sitting in a day chair next to the bed. MedicalMounts are specialists in providing ergonomic monitor arms for LCD TV screens within these environments and quickly identified the ideal solution in our wall mounted Elite Hospital TV arm (EMELR5280-WT-QG).

The Elite T.V. arm provided all of the movement range required and when not in use would fold neatly away flat to the wall. This solution also provided clinicians with the ability to swing the T.V. screen out of the way instantly if emergency care was required.

MedicalMounts trained installation engineers installed all of the hospital T.V. arms within a short time frame enabling the Ever Green Unit to open on schedule.
